I am offering a UNIQUE SERVICE: Record your MIDI PIANO TRACKS on a BOSENDORFER Grand 280 (bosendorfer.com, CEUS system), prepared by Yoshi Nishimura (Mozart House, Honolulu, Hawaii). Mister Nishimura has been asked to train the Bosendorfer technicians in Vienna how to fine adjust their pianos! Just email me the piano MIDI file and a mp3 rough mix of the song, so I’ll know what kind of piano sound you are looking for. I will send you a file of any format (mp3, wav, aif…) up to 96kHz sampling rate. I am using Neuman U87’s, Royer 122’s with Tube mic pre for the recording. Attached are 3 DEMOSs: Jazz, New Age, Pop. You can compare the synt piano to the Grand. Be aware that the main difference between synthesizer sounds and acoustic sounds is what it DOES, not what it sounds like! A vocal t rack will be enhanced by an acoustic piano background, a mix will sound richer and more vibrant with a real piano, The pitch of the lead is not as critical with acoustic background. “Feels warmer” is what people say about analog recording, tube gear and real instruments.

Record live Singer-Piano tracks without the leakage, Not everybody is Stevie Wonder and a weak voice with a lot of piano in it cannot be corrected with Melodyne or Autotune. Also you will be able to use the piano track as background track without voice in it.

Get Karaoke MIDI files from the internet an have them recorded with a piano.
